        Hello !!
Welcome to Our Classroom Web Page. Please Check out the News letter page!

In third grade, students will work as a team and use strategies to work together.  All students will be asked to take a risk and to have fun!!  Yes, school can be fun!

In grade 3, we will be working on many different skills.  In math, we will be working on basic addition, subtraction with regrouping, multiplication, problem solving, fractions, geometry, measurement and, by the end of the year, touching upon division.  In reading, we work on many different skills to help students become better readers with comprehension and fluency building skills.  We will be beginning to work with non-fiction materials and learning how to use these materials.  In science, we learn about living things (plants, and animals)and non-living things, the solar system and much more!  In language arts, we will be writing poems, letters, stories and doing different writing prompts.

Here is a little about myself.  I am a graduate of Sacopee Valley High School in South Hiram, Maine.  I then attended St. Joseph's College where I studied Elementary Education.  I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher.  I remember playing school when I was a child and loved doing it.

I have a very large family of four older brothers. I have twelve aunts and uncles, forty or more cousins, grandparents, a mom, a dad, two sister-in-laws, three nieces, two nephews, a God-daughter, and my wife, Mrs. Sanborn.

I student taught at Edna Libby School, with Mr. Hulit, and the following year I began my career as a teacher in grade 3 at Edna Libby School.  I am now in my sixth year of teaching.  I love teaching 3rd grade!!  Third grade is the best!!
