Welcome!

My name is Kristie Pellerin and I am one of the Title I Math Associates for MSAD#6.  I primarily assist students in grade 2 at Jack Memorial School and in grade 3 at Frank Jewett School.  I am a certified elementary teacher with a love for math.  I truly enjoy helping students find their potential in math.

When not at Jack Memorial or Frank Jewett, I spend most of my time with my husband, son and daughter.  We are a busy family with lots of passions, including: flying, biking, swimming, camping, cooking, and of course eating!

We all learned math differently than students do today.  That is okay.  You can still help your child.  Your child is learning new ways of doing math everyday.  Many of them are excited about this.  Please allow your student to tell you about it.  A positive attitude goes a long way in helping students.

I have set up this website with lots of information to help you and your student with math.  To the left you will see a couple of parent resource links to help you with the Everyday Math Program.  Also to the left you will find math fun for students.  Games (computer based or not) are a great way for students to practice math.

I work closely with your child’s classroom teacher.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact his or her teacher or email me directly.

                                        Have a great year!
                                Mrs. Pellerin

Student Resource Books
The Student Resource Book (SRB) is your go-to book when doing homework. The SRB contains explainations on homework topics, as well as rules to many of the games your child will be playing. Keep this in mind each night.

Family Math Night
It was great to see so many families at the Fall Family Math Night. We had a great time teaching families some of the games that help students practice their math skills. Thank you to all who came.
