Position in the District:
I have taught at Eliza Libby for 23 years. My first three years I taught second grade and then transferred to first grade where I continue to teach. I love teaching first grade!
I represent Eliza Libby on the district's Continuous Improvement Team and the Professional Development Team.
Professional and educational background:
I earned a B.S. degree from the University of Southern Maine in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities. I minored in math.
I also studied abroad in King Alfred's in England.
Family:
I was born and raised in South Portland. I come from a large family and love being "Auntie"!
Interests:
I love the outdoors. In warm weather, I ride my bike, garden and go white water canoeing. During the winter months, I downhill ski. And no matter what the weather is, I love to read and spend time with my family and friends!
