Reading Support Program
This site contains information about the MSAD#6 Reading Support Program and also includes helpful information for parents and students about reading and writing. This supplemental reading program for students in grades one and two is based on the needs of each child and is designed to strengthen foundation skills in reading. A student who is in the program works one-on-one with a reading associate in the areas of reading and writing strategies, comprehension, fluency, sight word development, word patterns and phonics. This instruction takes place in a small group setting (1-2 students) outside the classroom four to five times a week for 30-35 minutes.
