Mrs. McGinn is the art teacher at Jack Memorial School. Her art projects integrate with our elementary classroom curriculum. While studying space in first grade, we made moon plaques in art class using recycled materials. Afterwards we wrote fiction stories about how we traveled to the moon and outer space with our rockets. Then we made them into Moon Books. The students really enjoyed all aspects of this project!
