Return to Jack Memorial School
Return to Edna Libby School
Some students in MSAD #6 have been busy creating monsters!
Part of the third grade curriculum is learning how to write descriptive paragraphs. They learn to use good descriptive words, adjectives, to describe shape, size, color.
Here is the comparison of the monsters from Edna Libby and from Jack Memorial School. See how well the descriptions were written and how accurately the partner class followed the directions to redraw the monster
The students enjoyed this project and wanted to continue the exchange.
Students in Miss Nason's classroom at Edna Libby School in Standish created creatures and wrote descriptions of their monster drawings. They sent the descriptive paragraphs of their creatures to Mrs Guimond's class in Jack Memorial School in Buxton. Mrs Guimond's class then used those desciptions to redraw the monsters.
