The Octagon House in Limington, Maine

The Octagon House was built in 1864 by Captain Josiah E. Chase. I was designed to look like a hat box with eight sides. It is on Chase Mill Road in Limington.
Chase gave the Indians gave the Indians a one acre parcel of land at the mouth of the little Ossipee River. This was the location for the Indian Reservation and where the Indians fished and made baskets.
