George E. Jack Students Contribute to Standish Recycling Calendar Students at the Standish area schools designed artwork for the annual Recycle Standish! calendar, which encourages citizens to maximize their recycling efforts.  Every student, grades K to 5, submitted a piece of artwork that exemplified the importance of recycling.  Thirteen winners (one for each month plus the cover) were selected from among all of the entries at our three community schools.  At George E. Jack, winners included (left to right):  Emily Dolloff, grade 4; Catherine Biegel, grade 4; Madison Freeman, grade 5; Jennifer Leeman, grade 5.  Art teacher Jeff Poole joined the winners.
