On Friday, May 20, 2005, the Bonny Eagle High School Guidance Department hosted the annual Kiwanis Honors Reception. A Continental breakfast was enjoyed by students, parents, and staff in the cafeteria. The students were awarded honors certificates. Students who have made the honor roll for three quarters this year were recognized. Receiving certificates were 66 seniors, 54 juniors, 87 sophomores, and 82 freshman.

Paul Mosley, Chair of the Kiwanis Club of Standish Scholarship & Awards Committee announced the Kiwanis Club of Standish Scholarship Recipients: the Rutledge Morton Award of $1000 to Kathyrn Brooks; the Wesley Dolloff Award of $1000 to Kristen Willard; and the Russell Jenkins Award of $1000 to Elaine Ritter.
