Congratulations to the Bonny Eagle High School Jazz Choir for WINNING the UNH Jazz Festival, March 24. Choirs from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut performed and Bonny Eagle received the top plaque!! Way to go BEHS Singers! Also...in the solo vocalist category, our own Meg Doherty-Scannell was chosen to perform in the night concert with the professional musicians. She was the top female vocalist in the entire festival!! Congrats, Meg!
On April 6th the Bonny Eagle High School Jazz Choir took home the second place trophy in Division One Jazz Choirs.
For the past 3 years, the BEHS Jazz Choir has either been State Champs or State Runners-Up!! Also of special note, Joel Costigan received the OUTSTANDING MALE VOCALIST award. He was the most valuable singer for all Division One jazz choirs! The jazz choir rhythm section also took home a trophy as the OUTSTANDING RHYTHM SECTION...a first for Bonny Eagle!!
